Our terracotta collection

The Atelier Prométhée owes its existence to the extraordinary rediscovery of a superb collection of moulds from a Parisian workshop that produced casts in the first half of the twentieth century. The collection includes many masterpieces of seventeenth- and eighteenth-century French sculpture, casts from master moulds, and copies, as well as a few original pieces in the style of the great sculptors. There are also a number of garden ornaments based on prestigious originals in French, Spanish, and Italian museums and public buildings. Each piece is minu- tely detailed to produce a perfect replica of the original.
